Anthropic has announced a global enterprise partnership with Allianz — one of the world's largest insurance and financial services groups — that will deploy Claude across the company's more than 29,000 employees and build custom AI agents for insurance workflows. Three pillars of the partnership

• Claude Code access for all staff — all 29,000+ Allianz employees will receive access to Claude Code as part of the partnership, with Allianz targeting a significant acceleration in internal software development productivity across both technical and non-technical functions
• Custom multi-step AI agents — Anthropic will co-develop specialised agents for motor and health insurance claims processing, with human-in-the-loop checkpoints at key decision points to satisfy Allianz's regulatory and compliance requirements across its European and global markets
• AI interaction logging system — a dedicated logging and audit infrastructure for Claude interactions within Allianz systems, designed to meet the transparency and explainability requirements of financial regulators in the EU and other jurisdictions where Allianz operates

Allianz cited Claude's performance on long-document analysis and multi-step reasoning — capabilities critical for insurance claims workflows that involve complex policy documents, medical records, and legal correspondence — as key factors in the selection decision.

🧭 Anthropic Developer Documentation Portal — Complete Redesign

Anthropic has relaunched its developer documentation at platform.claude.com/docs with a complete redesign. The previous documentation structure had accumulated significant debt over two years of rapid API growth, with guides scattered across multiple locations and inconsistent formatting between sections. The new portal consolidates all API documentation, SDK references, cookbook examples, and conceptual guides into a single unified information architecture.

Notable improvements

• Unified search — a single search bar now covers API reference, guides, cookbook, and changelog simultaneously
• Versioned API reference — the reference documentation now tracks API versions explicitly, with a version selector for comparing parameter behaviour across releases
• Runnable code examples — Python and TypeScript code blocks can be run directly in the browser via an embedded sandbox
• Improved model comparison tables — a dedicated Models section provides side-by-side capability, price, and context window comparisons across the entire Claude family
